Rock Harbor Family Session

July 5, 2021 · Family

I don’t always moonlight as a cape cod family photographer but when I do, it’s the best. This Rock Harbor family session was a highlight of my year. Annabelle and Eloise schemed with their grandmother to have family photos taken as a Christmas present for their mom. If their mom is anything like mine, she would have been ecstatic to receive a gift like this. My mom often mourns the years we didn’t take family photos. I know this would have been something she’d treasure forever. They each picked out their own coordinating J.Crew outfit to fit their personalities. They looked amazing. I find adults have a harder time doing what these two pulled off seemingly effortlessly.

There’s a spot hidden down a quiet road that I love to go to near Rock Harbor on the Cape. There are evergreen trees and tall beach grass, on this path that leads to the ocean. It made for the idyllic setting of an adventure for the three of us. We were fast new friends and played a lot of Taylor Swift to get us in the right mindset — if you know what I mean. You can see how much fun we all had. Suffice to say, these girls have taste.
